Creating Justice
The Creating Justice project is a media and advocacy campaign designed to shed light on the ongoing struggle of the Sámi people’s fishing rights in the Deatnu River (Teno in Finnish and Tana in Norwegian) region. By focusing on recent Supreme Court rulings in Finland that have confirmed Sámi rights, the campaign seeks to raise awareness and advocate for the proper implementation of these rights, fostering a deeper understanding of the complex connection between law, culture, and natural resources. Campaign is funded by Pawanka Fund of RSF Social Finance
